Found Image Press is a San Diego-based company offering over 34,000 vintage and nostalgic images in the form of print-on-demand cards and gifts. We’re helping them with messaging, marketing communications and Web site project management as they open their offering directly to the consumer market. - Shopzilla.com
Shopzilla is a comparison shopping service that enables consumers to quickly and easily find, compare and buy just about anything sold online. Shopzilla’s marketing team asked us to build a content management system for the “About Shopzilla” section of their Web site so that they can update and maintain its content without the help of designers or programmers. - Bionics O&P
Bionics is one of San Diego’s premier providers of orthotic and prosthetic equipment. Until now, however, the company had no Web presence. Bionics asked us to help them with positioning and messaging, followed by the design and construction of its Web site. - Prima Products
Prima Products is an American-run Chinese manufacturer of high-end cutlery. Seeking to expand its customer base in the U.S., the company asked us first to help with some re-positioning work. Then, we facilitated an introduction to a U.S. company that specializes in matching Chinese manufacturers with American firms seeking outsourcing partners.
The year in review: here’s a look at what some of our clients were up to this year.
- Fallbrook Technologies
2008 was a big year for Fallbrook, a company which invented and manufacturers a revolutionary new type of mechanical transmission. In its first year on the market, the NuVinci® continuously variable planetary (CVP) transmission won five major design awards in the U.S. and Europe, including the prestigious R&D 100 Award as one of the most technologically significant products of the year. As we have since 2004, we assisted Fallbrook in its public relations efforts surrounding its NuVinci technology. - HP
This was our third year working with HP’s software division. We wrote a series of technical white papers related to its IT Management and Service Management application suites. - Tachyon Networks
Tachyon Networks is a well-established company that recently expanded their service offering. Their challenges were a stale design and out-dated messaging that failed to describe the depth and breadth of their satellite communications services. Even though their approach is solutions-oriented and service-based, they were competing on price with product-based hardware companies. After a comprehensive position definition workshop and extensive messaging development, we helped Tachyon with an in-depth concepting process to describe their highly-competitive network communications solutions. The result is an updated approach that properly positions the company for future success and continued growth.

Celebrating over five years and fifty clients.
The only achievements that really count are our clients’ success stories. A lot of agencies will tell you about the awards they win and the accolades they receive from their peers. While that’s nice, at The MET Team we’re more interested in making sure your goals are met and that your business succeeds. In 2008 we celebrated our fifth anniversary and earned the business of our fiftieth client. That’s reward enough for us.
